Our Founders

Reginald hails from Chicago, Illinois and Darlene from Orlando, Florida. They met while serving in the United States Army. Reginald retired after serving 23 years and Darlene after serving 21 years. Reginald has served twice as a senior pastor; first, with New Life Christian Center, Mannheim, Germany where they served for 3 years and most recently with the church he founded, Unity Christian Fellowship, Lynchburg, VA where they served for 18 years. Knowing the need for sound biblical teaching and how following biblical principles greatly enriches an individual's life, Reginald founded The Word In Your Life Teaching Ministry in March 2023. Reginald and Darlene are strong advocates for education and personal achievement. They received numerous awards and commendations while serving in the United States Army. They both have undergraduate and graduate degrees. Reginald (Dr. Walker) earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from the distinguished Leonard N. Smith School of Religion at the Virginia University of Lynchburg. They currently reside in Lynchburg, Virginia.
